Implus Corporation Names Michael Polk as Interim CEO
DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 10, 2020 — Implus Corporation,
a leading provider of athletic, fitness, and outdoor accessories, has appointed
Michael Polk as Interim Chief Executive Officer. This announcement follows the
transition of current CEO Seth Richards and President Todd Vore, who are
leaving to pursue other ventures.
Michael Polk brings a wealth of experience to Implus. Previously, he served as President and CEO of
Newell Brands from 2011 to 2019. His extensive career also includes leadership
roles at Unilever and Kraft, and an early start at Procter & Gamble. Polk’s
academic background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and an
undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
Dave Bordeau, Chairman of Implus’ Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Polk’s

Michael Polk is also a seasoned board member, serving on the Boards of Colgate-Palmolive and
